It seems that everybody is waiting for someone to do something
about it while he keeps his fingers crossed. Manufacturers must all get
together and come to a consensus. Matte Tin or annealed Tin is what is
most recommended to use as metallization to minimize Tin Whiskers. If
they do not do that, we all will be burned with recalls.

Thanks Kevin, I downloaded the iNemI Tin Whisker User Group document the
other day and it is fantastic information but it doesn't help with
finding or dealing with components that the suppliers refuse to supply
in anything but pure tin.
