Hi Ofer, Hilty, Chris, IPC LF Listservers,

Trying to imagine what you were describing Chris helped a lot and then so
did Tyco-Bob.

Considering this application, I have to agree with Bob, yet 10 seems
like a high low-end number. Wipes as one makes contact always disturbs or
gouges the metalurgy and crud (products of the environment) always grow
around the contact. Eventually this crud breaks or makes the contact have
higher resistance, intermittant, etc until failure.

In addition to what Bob noted from his testing you will want to consider
the usage environment and running any environmental tests the product is
supposed to pass.
