Hi Chuck, Arnold, IPC LF Listservers,

I don't know what Arnold's point was either.

It seems to me, independent of his comment, that the news release he posted
was striving to demonstrate that the environmental authorities were doing
the best they could recovering from Katrina in the USA Gulf Coast.

To me this is just a publicity piece, yet it could also be a real story
about environmental people working under great strain. As Gordon did in a
recent note it would be nice to know all the numbers.

Can you imagine all those Refrigerators with mold and older refrigerant, or
all those autos with gas and oil, or all those household chemicals and
older paints just going into land fills via bull dozing. The environmental
guys/gals should be doing something, even if under great stress, and huge
USA, Lousiana political pressures.

Yours in Engineering, Dave
