Hi Dewey! I will have to acknowledge that the implementation of nonPb shot
for waterfowl hunting has indeed resulted in fewer duck fatalities -
especially for those hunters who practice the "shoot and release" program!
(aka those folks who can't hit the broadside of a barn!).

I was gone a awhile and didn't get a chance to wish everyone a happy
Thanksgiving. I know that was a poultry excuse, but I was addressing
other things.
I did learn what marmite was. I always thought it was what I got when I
wore my polar fleece too long.
We did learn that the Lead-Free issue is affecting Dave" Duck Hunter "
Hillman shot at the shooting title. We suspect foul play here.
With the ban on lead wheel weights, we have another Industry left
hanging in the balance.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Forum (and you too, Dewey),
I just wanted to tell you all that you are a very talented group of
folks, very talented. I am thankful that I have this network of people
whom I feel I can count on to answer questions and help me solve
problems, and occasionally throw in a much-needed day brightener.
I know that Thankgiving is not celebrated in all of the countries that
have members on this forum, and I don't care. I wish you all a Happy
Thanksgiving anyway.
And don't drink too much Unicum, Lone Star, pine tar, or whatever.
But do have a good time with your families.
R. Dean Stadem
