The industry-developed IPC-1752 can help you with issues and
requirements of supporting the collection, management and exchange of
information on the uses of restricted substances and materials in
electronic products. To give you the hands-on experience you need to use
this document, IPC is holding a full-day workshop December 5th in
Chelmsford (Boston), MA.
The morning will consist of a walk-through of the materials declaration
document, section by section, presented by Richard Kubin, co-chair of
the IPC 2-18 Supplier Declaration Committee. Note: We encourage you to
bring live data that you can use when filling out the materials
declaration form.
In the afternoon there will be software demonstrations presented by The
Goodbye Chain Group, E2Open, Synapsis Technology, Inc., Matrix One,
Inc., Omnify Software and the National Institute of Standards &
Technology (NIST).
For more information or to register, go to www.ipc.org. Additional
workshops are planned in 2006: February 28th in Irvine, CA and March
16th in Dallas, TX.
We hope to see you there!
