Talk to Twin Cities Testing in Minneapolis. Another resource might be ACI in PA. I have dealt with both and they are equally good analysis places. Twin Cities testing is the old Stork Testing.

We are looking for a lab to do some failure analysis on a flash memory chip
that we suspect may have been damaged by ESD.  The engineer would like a
facility that could etch away the plastic to reveal the circuits inside and
capture the details with an electron microscope.  What labs are in the U.S.
that could do this type of work?  Is there such a lab in Minnesota?  What
might this cost?
