Greetings All:

A question on moisture absorption and how it affects PWB
delamination.... After fabrication, if a board is stored in an
uncontrolled environment (no humidity controls - New England Summer),
would one expect to see delamination stemming from the edges of a board
as opposed to somewhere centrally located? I would think the moisture
could more easily be absorbed through the porous surface edges. And, if
this theory is correct and the delamination was more centrally located,
could one assume that the problem could also be a function of how the
PWB was fabricated? Thanks.

Regards,

Steve Vargas
