As the deadline for compliance with the European Union's RoHS Directive
draws near, issues and requirements of supporting the collection,
management and exchange of information on the uses of restricted
substances and materials in electronic products has become a major
concern.
The industry-developed IPC-1752 can help. To give you the hands-on
experience you need to use this document, IPC is holding full-day
workshops November 9th in Northbrook (Chicago), IL and December 5th in
Chelmsford (Boston), MA.
The morning will consist of a walk- through of the materials declaration
document, section by section, presented by Richard Kubin of E2Open.
Note: We encourage you to bring live data that you can use when filling
out the materials declaration form.
In the afternoon there will be software demonstrations presented by The
Goodbye Chain Group, E2Open, Synapsis Technology, Inc., Matrix One, Inc.
and the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST).
For more information or to register, go to www.ipc.org/MD1752.
We hope to see you there!
