Hi Arnaud,
You did not say whether this is rolled or ED copper. Also, the way you
described it, you may have a stres concentration geometry.
You will have a problem with correlating Vickers hardess to ductility,
particularly since ductility is directional and vickers is not. However, you should
be able to determine whether there is something different with the failure
location copper.
