A good question, and hopefully this response will dispel some of the
confusion.
I never suggested this as a measure to move pcb fabricators from the technet
list.
As I've seen, many people are on 2 or more lists already.
The goal, at least how I envisioned it, was to provide a means for
fabricators to find answers to questions, from other fabricators. I was
thinking of small to mid-size shops, I never suggested or would even desire
anyone unsubscribe from technet. There are fabricators who want specific
answers quickly without wading through non-fabrication content that is the
normal communication on technet.
I do not believe anyone (fabricators) would really unsubscribe from technet,
this would provide an 'additional' resource where one is lacking. And that
may grow into something that can only benefit everyone.
