I've used with marginal success, a Tig welder and coat hanger wire, touch-up
afterwards made this method cost prohibitive so I purchased IPC 7711, there
are much better methods suggested in that manual...I recommend it. Not sure
if it would meet Telcordia though...

Could anyone suggest a method or technology used  to permanently add a
wire / strap to a board. I'm trying to find out if there is an
acceptable method, such that it would pass IPC or Telcordia standards.
