method (drinking dew) not comply with mil-std-xyz... in valid... almost
chock myself (no air in-let step etc.etc. ;-)... by the way, even it is
insufficient method, since it is out open in TechNet, it is common knowledge
and no longer patentable by Doug P...hehehe.

Joyce,
For a commodity item, like a B-24 board, which is used for materials
studies, they can come from almost any source. Yes, it is best that you
get them from one of your regular suppliers and IPC (or I) can provide the
Gerber files, if for no other reason than you can sometimes see if you
have a crappy fab house before investing money in actual product. It
becomes more important that you have the test boards made by your vendor
when you are doing process qualification or characterization work. In that
instance, you want the same laminate/mask/metalization/marking ink scheme
intended for actual product. And if you get crappy results, and you show
that your supplier is crappy, you can avoid some pain on actual product.
At least in theory.

As for the Dew. grasp bottle firmly in left hand, twist off cap, give cap
to young co-worker foolish enough to believe that he has a shot in winning
the X-box prize, raise bottle to lips, upend, swallowing in a rate to
approximately equal the incoming flow rate. Repeat as necessary.
Hallucinations optional.

I thought you have to get your vendor to do the comb....not from someone
else...
If you get comb from vendor A PCB and pass the SIR, is it equal to vendor B
PCB can pass the SIR? Doug, could you teach me drink some dew?

SIR testing?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Best wishes,
