Thanks Dave,
I Compared Kester 182 data sheet to J-STD-3 requirements (3.2.2) & it
matches exactly.

Mark

Hi Mark! Please keep in mind that the JSTD-002 and JSTD-003 requires
a
specific, defined flux composition recipe and not just any ROL1 flux
per
JSTD-004. Both specification list the exact flux composition
required to
be used. Both the JSTD-002 and JSTD-003 committees have requested
specific
product designation from any/all flux material suppliers to be
listed in
each of the specifications in section 6 of the next revisions.

        Hi All,
I'm looking for a supplier (in USA) of ROL1 flux (1 gallon or
smaller) for
low volume solder float solderability testing.
Kester 182 looks good (from datasheet) but I can't find a source.

        Any suggestions?

        Thanks,
