Karen,

The two primary causes for cracked capacitors are:
1. Mechanical stress
2. Thermal stress

What size caps are you having problems with and where are they located relative to mechanical mounting hardware or depanelization (break-aways)?

Would anyone list for me in most probable order the causes for cracked
capacitors.  Has anyone had issues with cracked caps with SnAg Solder
paste????
