By pure luck I ended up working for the company that Ron used to
work for and with the supervisor he used to have. So when we hit the
wall and wanted some expert opinion my boss would say, call Ron or
e-mail him a question. I am sure that when I mentioned old friends of
him as I approached him with questions the first time it gave him a
little extra urge to call back and answer my questions and at the same
time find out about his previous buddies. I found him fluid, friendly,
he treated me like and old friend. I will miss him, but the industry as
a whole will miss him even more.

On Saturday we paused but for a moment to remember college, a man of
insight, foresight Honor and dignity,  Ron Daniels.  It is said that it
is
not so much what you do while on earth, but how you are remembered.
Ron
will be remembered and missed for being there for us, his family and his
country.
I still have one of his last emails still in the folder, which I stink I
may frame to ensure I do not loose it.
