As you are in the UK, I suggest Vutrax, see www.vutrax.co.uk . This is a
low cost but very sophisticated system that will do everything. You can
even get a free version limited to the number of pads, to try it out.
I've used it for >20 years and am always amazed by what it can do, under
either Win or Linux. If you phone them, ask for John Wallace (you can
mention my name, if you like). He is the guy who will give you all the
support you need. The full versions can compete with systems costing 10
x more.
