I have been trying to make sense out of the illustration in IPC-2221 page 26
figure 5-1 that shows standard panel sizes and the more I read the more
messed up it looks...

I referred to the amendment 1 revision of it and its more messed up than the
first one....

I think they just wanted to add the inch equivalents to the drawing but they
changed the references and now they make no sense...

Has IPC revised this again yet? Is there a corrected version of this?

We are re-evaluating our board assembly panel sizes and want to get the best
yields from our vendor's manufacturing panels when we select the final size
of our 'standard' assembly panel...

What is your PCB manufacturing 'standard' panel size for glass/epoxy type
materials??? Some PCB vendors tell me they have a working panel size of
18x24 inches... what do you use? And why?
