I think he has something here. If the landfill was in Iowa near the corn
fields that are used for Ethanol production for fuel alternatives, we
surely know we're going to be in the Red ink on this one.

Let's think out of the box for a minute on this one.........

1- We might not eat lunch on a landfill, but... what about the crop
farm next door to the landfill which could become our lunch. I'm not
saying that landfill sites are notorious for leaks, but it does happen!

2- We might not eat lunch on a landfill, but... we eat the fish
that feed on the flies that do each lunch on landfills!

Nope. Supposedly the whole RoHs thing is about getting the last
.00000001% of toxic waste out of the landfills so it does not get into
our bodies.
When was the last time you had lunch in a landfill?
I am so glad that if I ever do have lunch in a landfill I will not get
any of those toxins into my fine brown body. Vive le RoHs!

Remember the rules on MSDS...

You need to put nothing on to an MSDS which is present in amounts less
than 1%, UNLESS it is a carcinogen, then the reporting limit falls to
0.1%.

I do not believe RoHS is so lenient.
