Re: [TN] no-clean flux "residue"

Phil,
That question should probably go back to the make of the low residue flux.
I know that my friends at Kester and Alpha get asked to test compatibility
of fluxes to the wierdest things. I have not every analyzed this
combination. You should actually be asking two questions: (1) what is
the
effect of the oil on the flux residue, and (2) how tolerant is the
dielectric oil to trace amounts of flux residue without compromising
functionality. The second question would have to go back to the maker of
the dielectric oil (or earl to our southern friends).

Good morning,

Does anybody have experience with using no-clean cored wire solder on
through hole boards that will be submbeged in dielectric oil?

Thanks in advance,

Phil
