Hi Cheryl,

None that I can find or be aware of.

Talk to your board house and see what they can do and prefer. Webs of
0.004 are do-able on a regular basis by many shops, might get 0.003 from
some houses. Some shops are working on reducing that to 0.002! Web
size also depends on the chemistry of the SM, among other things. I
assume we're talking LPI? (of course we are...)

Maybe one of the board houses can shed some light? Franklin, Jeffrey,
somebody?

Regards,
Roger

Subject: [TN] Soldermask inspection

Do you know if any spec exists defining minimum soldermask webs
(particularly between vias and bga pads)?
Any inspection criteria?
Your help is appreciated.

Sincerely,
