Ramon,

The Epovac chamber is well-sealed and only 1500 cc. It's small enough
that any pump will pull it down in short order. Also, the epoxy has a
very long (hrs) room temperature pot life, so evacuation time isn't too
critical here. Mounts are typically under vacuum for about 30 minutes.

Pressure is on the order of 100 - 150 torr.

Good point on something used in hospitals.

        You need to know the torr pressure that you want to achieve and
the volume of gas displaced per minute. If you want silent pumps, look
for vacuum pumps for hospitals.
