Kemet has some great articles in this.

Where are the cracks?

Cracks in the middle are either flex cracks or problems wit the pick and
place (or some other applied force.)

Cracks at the ends are usually from thermal stress? (soldering irons)

Would anyone list for me in most probable order the causes for cracked
capacitors.  Has anyone had issues with cracked caps with SnAg Solder
