As mentioned in another mail, Hepco is always a good choice.  I have
also had very good luck with Streckfuss trimming equipment, and they can
work to develop custom plates if they don't have a standard plate
already in production.  I'm sure Google can give you contact info.

Good Luck, at least this is one of those problems that just takes a bit
of money to solve, and isn't too technically challenging!

Good Morning Technetters,

 

We have some 15 and 25 pin D-sub connectors that we need to trim the
leads. They are .030" phosphor bronze and we only need to trim about
.020 - .030 from the ends.

 

Does anybody know of some good reliable, low maintenance trimming tools
that would work good for this application? I want to trim them pre wave
solder, not post solder with a bologna slicer.
