I've invited Ms. Huang Wenxiu of the Guanzhou Electric Appliance Research
Institute (GEARI) to the listserve, as she recently asked for advice on how
companies in China should comply with California's laws. I hope that she can
join, GEARI has a lot to share on the topic of appliance recycling in China.

Does anyone have any information on something I read the other day that
China are to follow suit of California i.e. implement a lead restriction on
manufacturers?
