Local County Councils and City Corporations are responsible for providing
public recycling centres for WEEE.

For a nominal fee (car €2) you gain entry to the recycling centre and you
sort your own recycling materials in provided collection bins
(cardboard/paper/plastic/batteries/electrical goods etc.).

These amenities have  improved quite significantly over the last year or so
and are becoming more accepted as the Irish mature in their eco-friendly
conscience.
