They contain amine hydrochlorides/hydrobromides or amino acid hydrochlorides/hydrobromides, which is not at all the same thing.

(They may not be the same thing from a chemist's point of view, but if you can distinguish the difference in corrosivity AT SOLDERING TEMPERATURE between these compounds and HCl or HBr, you are much more discerning than I am...:-)
