We have been using eM-Quality from Tecnomatix-Unicam for almost 3 years now.
The current version is called eM-Execution.  It allows us to load in all of
the component information from the CAD file, define routes, log defects,
track WIP, and generate reports automatically or manually with drill-down
capabilities for defect analysis.  It tracks boards by serial and lot
numbers.  Using the data from the CAD file, it displays a picture of the PCB
on the PC screen, and allows the user to select parts to get part
information, log defects, and look up defects already logged.  We have found
this package very useful.  They also have a box build/genealogy module
available, but we don't have it.  For more information, go to:
