Ok, now that I have made absolutely no sense in my subject line I will ask
my question....apologies beforehand for any cranial density issues
I am looking at a datasheet right now that states that the component is RoHS
compliant but then has a note that states:
"Soldering note: During surface mount soldering the soldering temperature
profile must not cause the metal tab of this device to exceed 220 deg. C!"
Now I am a librarian and am possibly just being very thickheaded but does
that make sense? Does this mean that it has to be hand soldered?
Thanks in advance,
Dharma
