There are a variety of coatings but the type you are probably referring to
is a 100% solids liquid vinyl dispersion coating. The bare racks are dipped
then baked. The trade name is Plastisol.

Question for board houses. Can someone tell me what the coating is on racks
used in our acid copper and --GASP-- SnPb baths? You know, the rubberized
stuff  that never seems to withstand hammering from the platers that like a
quick
way  to remove buildup!
