Hi Dave!

We're not going to bake them in a reel, we don't have the time.
We're going to de-reel the parts and do the 48-hour, 125 C. bake.

I just got back from the store after buying some cookie sheets for
the parts since we didn't have any matrix trays that would fit a PLCC-68.

And before you ask, no, they weren't "Bakers Secret" cookie trays...hehehe.

Finished up the wave solder job this morning, the pot is back full of the
shiney
stuff, and I have two hold-down bolts sticking up out of the solder, where
yesterday
there was only one. You can see them at: http://www.stevezeva.homestead.com
look at; "New Hold Downs".

Kind regards,

-Steve Gregory-

Steve

Consider the material of the reel when selecting your bake temperature.
Baking at too warm a temperature will make the reel useable.
