This is the right stuff. We also replace our hardware annually and "carefully" use a tap to clean the threads out.

Subject: [TN] Anti-seize compound for wave solder hardware...

Well, this Friday didn't start out too well for our maintenance technician. He snapped off one of the four hold-down bolts for the rotary wave former in our Electrovert Electra, doing his weekly maintenance on the pot.

So now to replace it, we have to drain our pot down enough so that he can.

He said that the bolts have been really hard to loosen, and I ask if he's been using anti-seize compound on the threads and he says that he has.

I went and checked what he says he's been using, and it's a Biral Anti-seize. The can says it's good to 1100-degrees C..

Just curious as to what others might use?

Kind regards,
