Wow, that is a really interesting product mix Blair, I just checked out your
web site.

From a quick scan I believe that you could indeed claim exemptions on some
of those products due to their applications such as mining and tunnelling
applications etc being "fixed".

It would not apply to all of your products however, and even worse, I
believe that the particular application of your products and where they are
installed might actually affect their "exemptedness" ????

Where is the best place to find information on the fixed installation
exemption? It is possible that my company may be able to claim our products
under this exemption.

We manufacture industrial communications products that are typically
installed in a fixed installation, permanently mounted and remain there
until failure or until plant decommission.
