We use stamps from VRS - the ink is red mixed with black to gain
permanence. They are self-contained stamps that can be used to mark
immediately after test since the cure is seconds. These marks will
with-stand more assembly operations but can be removed with a strong
solvent.
Take a look at: http://www.vrsmarking.com
We use Insta Mark 116.

Subject: [TN] Et stamps and Ink
Hi Technetters,
I would like to know what ink and stamp most board shops use to mark
boards
with ET. We used to stamp ET with a white ink but the letters ran into
each
other, they got smudged, and the ink was not permanent. Durig assembly
it
got washed out. Also the stamp pad would dry up. We need to mark boards
with ET and date code. Is there a single stamp that we could use where
you
can change the date on the stamp and the ink is permanent and the stamp
pad
doesn't dry up.
Also let know if there are other alternatives to this.
Thanks
