Me too,

Just repaired a discrepant wire connection on my electric guitar tone
control using one of those. Wouldn't want to use it for anything at the PCB
level though. If it is for hooking up the odd wire, these are great.

What about gaz powered soldering irons? You did not tell us what you
want to solder - cables, electronic components, THT/SMD, if SMD,
which size, is accurate temperature necessary etc.

I use with good success a Weller Pyropen, but every other soldering
tool with catalytic combustion (no open flame) will do the job.
