In last few years, ODB++ has evolved to ODB++(X), which is an XML based
version of ODB++. From there on, ODB++(X) was merged with ideas from
GenCAM of IPC and new open standard called IPC-2581 was born. IPC-2581
was released march 2004 and is available from IPC.
I wonder when will we start to see first PCB manufactures requesting for
IPC-2581 format.
