Yeah, and have you ever wondered how you hear all those ships make all that
noise in a vacuum? Or how about all those fighters making all those
aerobatic maneuvers without any sign of stress on the pilots? Geez.... :)

Typical modern science fiction. Too much fiction, not enough science. When
does the DVD come out? :)))

I love Star Wars as much as anyone, but can I add my 2 cents to this topic.

It's just a movie! Don't over analyze it. Just enjoy it. Thinking
too much ruins good times when you want to check your brain at the door and
just be in awe of the miracle of modern special effects.

If we want to be technical then the hole movie is flawed from the
opening line. "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." Since these last
3 movies pre-date the others done in the 70's and 80's, shouldn't the first
line be "A longer time ago in a galaxy far, far away."

Just my rant of the day. I done.

Ok, we have differing opinions on the affects on the human body in deep
space. It started over a scene in the new Star Wars movie, in the movie a
character that has human organs is sent unprotected into deep space. The
debate is over what the affects of deep space is on the human body. One side
supports the idea that in a gravity free environment the human body would be
depleted of oxygen and death would come from asphyxiation while the other
side states that the blood would boil and the human organs would explode. As
so, the Star Wars movie in this scene is inaccurate.

Does anyone know which side is correct?
