Colleagues,

Technology continues to drive our industry. And, as the world continues to be more and more competitive, it's essential to any company's success to be well-informed and ready for these new technologies. IPCWorks 2005, "What's in Your Future?" will be held October 22-27, at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV where industry leaders will share the latest technical information.

IPC is issuing this Call for Papers if you have significant relevant experience or innovative ideas to share with your peers and would like to present them at this event. Not only will you help educate the industry, you will also enhance your credibility as a technical expert. Be heard by the companies ready to see their future!

We are seeking papers in these areas:
* Lead Free Implementation
* Using Materials Declaration Information to Improve Recycling
* Printed Board Materials
* Embedded Technology, including passives, actives and flex applications
More information on conference topics is available at www.ipc.org/IPCWorks

To Present a Paper at the Technical Conference:

We welcome 200-300 word abstracts on unpublished work detailing case histories, field data, new technologies or innovations or research and findings. Summarize the problems and resolutions, methods used, results of experiments and benefits to the industry. Your paper presentations may be 30-45 minutes long. Some presentations may be grouped in a forum or panel discussion. Papers must be non-commercial in nature, focusing on technology rather than a company's product. Papers deemed commercial by the Technical Program Committee will not be accepted.

To submit a 200-300 word abstract, go to www.ipc.org/IPCWorks for more information. Abstract submission deadline is June 15, 2005.

Proceedings
Conference presenters must provide an electronic copy of their technical paper and/or presentation slides so that they can be inserted in the conference proceedings. Paper/visuals submission deadline: September 15, 2005.

Speaker Benefits:
As a technical conference speaker at IPCWorks 2005, you will receive free conference admission and a complimentary copy of the technical conference Proceedings on CD-ROM.

Regards,

John Perry
