Tin-lead is used as etch resist for alkaline etching of pattern plated
PCB.After etching is stripped out.Completly.
No left-overs.What does this process has in common with RoHS ??? There is NO
lead on the PCB.
The same is applied, for example, to Cyanide. ENIG finishing is involved in
dipping the board in Cyanide containig Gold solution.Very toxic and very
powerfull poison.
Anyone is considering ban on ENIG finishing ???
Edward
