High Temperature Elongation


Available for a Variety of Applications – For more demanding applications
(multilayer boards with six layers and above), double treated copper foil
can be provided in conjunction with Grade 3 JTCS HTE (High Temperature
Elongation) base foil. The user then benefits from the advantages of double
treated foils and JTCS, the preferred foil to combat innerlayer foil
cracking. Gould treatments for specific resin systems such as polyimide and
bismaleimide triazine (BT) are also available.

[TN] Copper Foil Spec "HTE"






Hi All,



Is it;



a)      Close to Friday and I just can't think of the answer

b)      Old age affecting my memory

c)      I have never come across this spec and just don't know what it
means!



I have a requirement for copper foil to "HTE type E class 3"?  I suspect
that there is nothing fancy about this but what is "HTE" ?
