Sorry, what are you implying here Dewey?
That we in the UK have used other resources to power our vehicles perhaps?
Surely you also have people that are resourceful enough to think of alternative
fuels like used cooking oil etc? (burns like diesel).
There might well be a few pig farmers that have tried methane.
Hydrogen & battery powered vehicles are more commonplace now, we also have a few that are using the owners kids pet hamsters in a multitude of little exercise wheels that give the car approx 24.8 miles to the cup of hamster food.
I have a short 7 mile journey that takes me 10 minutes (5 on a good day) and if needs be
I can cycle in (might just have to do that now the fuel protests are starting again).
