We had service done recently on one of our machines. The guy just elongated a tube from the gas evacuation system, put it on bottom of the tank, and started grinding the steel bottom from 'tar'. Before that, he emptied the whole machine from the inert liquid. So, he arranged a simple but satisfying ventilation.

Hello all,

I need to grind and re-weld a bracket in my vapor phase machine and was
wondering what precautions to take? There is a very thin residual amount of
VP fluid at the bottom of the tank after draining.

Any takers?
