The third reason is to make it easier to do the "two-step" on the dance
floor

I have to agree with Ingemar's daughter...
Cowboy boots are have smooth sole's for two reasons. First, so your
foot slips out of the stirrups easily so you don't get hung up in a
stirrup if you fall or are bucked off. Second, to make it easier to
kick the dung off the sole. My guess is that the job stunk!...And you
set off for greener pastures.

What an innocent guy you were,
but already high expectations on money!
Guess it has something to do with the
numerical panels (seen in background).
Either you had to clean and do service on
all these hundreds of lamps, or you had to
work with manual and slow and complicated
swithing, then you decided there must be
better ways of doing that job.

But, like my daughter, when she first
started interest for horses, she had
to begin with clear out the dung...
so, step 1: get rid of the dung
step 2: get cleaner job as electrician...

my sixpence...hmmm..euro..too much..pesetas..hmmm
...two pistols..

Subject: [TN] NTC (sort of) Old pictures...

Hi All!

I had a request for some old pictures that I had up on my web page
previously
of "Strange soldermask defects", so I put them back up on my page;

http://www.stevezeva.homestead.com

I also put a new picture up of me, from my first job, back in 1970, when
I
decided then, that I wanted to pursue a career in electronics. One may
look at
the picture (that's me on the left, at the ripe old age of 16), and
wonder what
connection that job had, that prompted me to decide on a career in
electronics manufacturing...my job back then was titled; "Hot-walker and
Groom".

I wonder if any of you can guess what that connection was? (It's pretty
obscure)
