Barry,

At  the last place I worked we used to print barcodes/part
numbers/revisions on a .250" by 1.00 "
piece of Kapton tape rated greater than 300 degrees C.

We actually had the fabrication vendor print and place the sticker on
the copper
for cradle to grave traceability.

They loved us.
