I believe these are AVX's "flexible termination" chip caps and I believe
these are also base metal electrodes

Ingemar it looks like you have been double plated.   Most terminations with
copper are for RF applications because they take the ferrous metal out of
the circuit.   I do not know why they would plate with copper and then
nickel over.  I would guess this may be the root of your problem.

John, need immediate advice from you, as you are being very familiar with
ceramic caps. Got problem with 0603 100nF/16VDC/X7R, Rins > 10-100 kOhms,
sometimes lower. Failure rate 1-2%.
Q: Terminals AgCuNiSnPb instead of usual AgNiSnPb. Never seen Cu before. Why
