Hi Sedat!

Titanium by far is the best material for a wave solder pot, but can be
expensive!

Grey cast iron is a good choice as well. It does wet with solder, but has a
damming
action that slows the corrosion to a low level.

As an illustration, it is recommended that a solder pot inspection be
performed once
every two years with a titanium pot, once every year with a grey cast iron
pot, and
anywhere from monthly to every six-months with stainless steel pots
(depending on
the type of stainless steel, or if it has been treated).

This information was presented by Jim Morris of Cookson Electronics at APEX
2003.
Kind regards,

Hi,

Which one is the best solder pot ( for lead-free soldering ) in the wave
solder station?
Titatium solder pot with carbon steel coating or cast iron solder pot?
Please inform me....
