MEETING OF THE SOUTHERN NEW  ENGLAND  CHAPTER
OF THE  IPC DESIGNERS COUNCIL
Date: Tuesday, the 12th of April, 2005
Where: Vectron  International, Norwalk CT
Time: 6:00pm
Topic: SMT Lead Free Assembly Plant  Tour
Vectron  International in Norwalk has a lead free factory and we will be
giving a tour of the production floor with Gary Williams - manufacturing
engineer. After the tour and dinner, Gary will give a presentation on Vectron's  lead
free processes. A question and answer period will follow where we will
discuss any concerns regarding the transistion and implementation of lead free
manufacturing. Attendees must be US citizens to tour the production floor. If
you are not a US citizen, you may join us for the dinner  and discussion.
Speaker: Gary  Williams, manufacturing engineer at Vectron International.
Host: The meeting  and tour will be hosted by Vectron International. Vectron
International is the  leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of
frequency generation and  control products. Products include a wide range of
crystals, crystal  oscillators, frequency translators, clock and data recovery
modules, and surface  acoustic wave (SAW) filters from DC to microwave frequencies.

Vectron  International is headquartered in Hudson, NH, & operates facilities
& sales  offices in North  America, Europe, & Asia.

Directions to Vectron International in Norwalk, CT:
From Merritt  Parkway:
Coming From The North
Take exit 40B. At end of ramp, take a  right and then an immediate left in
front of
Shell Station onto Glover  Avenue. VECTRON  is 3/4 of a mile on the right.
Coming From The South
Take exit 39B (Rt. 7 North) and go to  the end. Make a right, go to the next
traffic
light and turn right onto Glover  Avenue. VECTRON  is the first building on
the
left.

From Connecticut Turnpike  (I-95):
Coming From The North
Take exit 15 (ramp forks): take fork  marked Route 7 to Danbury to the end.
At
traffic light, turn right. Go to the  next traffic light and turn right onto
Glover
Avenue. VECTRON is the first building on  the left.
Coming From The South
Take exit 15 onto Route 7 connector.  Take to end and at traffic light, turn
right.
Go to the next traffic light and turn  right onto Glover  Avenue. VECTRON  is
the
first building on the left.
