I mainly use the main words from a sentence of whatever I'm looking for.
I.E. if I'm looking for something on the "current capability of a via" then I'd either try that exact sentence (enclosed in parenthesis) or just PCB AND via AND current from the "advanced" page of Google.
More often than not, the desired results turn up.
Unless there are 20,000 of them & then it needs expanding to thin it out a bit, adding more words that absolutely must be in a document about the subject.
Google ignores common words like and/the etc.
You can also put in words that it should NOT find on the page.
I have not needed to use anything other than Google since I don't know when, are there any other search engines out there still? :-)
Mind you, if I want something technical & PCB related, asking here is always a good place to start, because someone else will most likely have found it before.. lol
