As most know the most common form of this principle these day's is KISS .

Us as humans, especially when we've received 'just enough' technical
training or knowledge often want to 'over see' (((two words))) things when
working issues. Without a 'control' method (this can be a procedure, person,
event, etc) things can go off in completely wrong directions quickly.

So we must always always always ask ourselves how to keep things in
perspective???

I've tossed this question out before (not the originator of the question
mind you, taking no liberties here) and got quite the range of response
which is typical.but it is an exercise in maintaining perspective.which is
key to problem resolution.

How long is a piece of rope?

How high is up?
