I have a question regarding the removal of slivers from power/ground layers.
The power/ground slivers I am referring to occur when the spacing between
clearances creates small copper dams or when the clearances touch or over
lap and create the "V" shape. I would like to know when removing these
slivers should be considered a "design change" and the customer needs to be
notified. Are there any spec's that I could look at to give me an idea if I
have violated IPC spec's?
