Hi Technos,

we are presently assemblying 0.65mm BGAs, with no issue. However, a customer asked about 0.5mm and how smaller can we get. We run pretty good equipment, MPM UP3000 printers and Fuji IP3 pick and place.

Any insights you would have to share on that? I assume I would have to go for an electroformed stencil. But how is the printing anyways, any particular aperture shape? What about the rework, in case the assembly is expensive?
